Who we are
Midnight was born out of a love for Southern Californian Mexican cuisine, with an emphasis on fresh produce (much of which we grow in our own kitchen garden in Oak Bluffs), marinated meats, locally caught seafood (much of which we source from the same Oak Bluffs fishermen we worked for as kids), and classic preparation styles we’ve been fine-tuning since our days on the Midnight Train.
Whether we’re marinating, grilling, fermenting, slow cooking or searing our philosophy is to find the best ingredients we can and let them shine. Our commitment to making things from scratch and sourcing local ingredients means that we sell out of certain items sometimes, it’s a trade off we think is worth it to make you the best food we know how to make.
Your experience is very important to us, if you have an allergy or food sensitivity or there’s anything you need don’t hesitate to ask. Opening this place has been our dream for a long time and we’re so glad you’re here.
